Kirk Walsh, cross country and distance coach at Cuthbertson High in North Carolina and the Carolina Cavaliers Track Club, reflects on Alyssa Preisano, Justine Preisano, Charlotte Bell and Stella Kermes winning the girls distance medley relay in 11:33.18 and 4xMile relay in 20:05.91 in his final meet guiding the program at New Balance Nationals Outdoor at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Walsh announced in April that this season would be his last coaching the team to focus on his health and spend more time with his family.
