Avery Lewis, a junior at Friends' Central High in Pennsylvania representing Phoenix Track Club, won the girls long jump title with a third-round mark of 20-9.75 (6.34m) at New Balance Nationals Outdoor at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Lewis also placed second in the 100-meter dash final in a wind-legal 11.52 seconds and finished fifth in the 200-meter final in a wind-legal 23.43 seconds.
